In the grant application or Request for Proposal (RFP), granted works closely with your designated point of contact to collect organizational data needed to complete the application/proposal. During our consultation, we will provide additional insights and advice to fully develop your plan. We then write your compelling story, complete with statement of need, statistical data, program design, as well as your monitoring and evaluation plan to demonstrate your commitment to the program.

The Western academic model is broken. Too many people have so many issues with current learning models, leaving them dissatisfied and feeling of failure. Learning is not a pass/fail proposition. Instead, learning is the natural response of humans to learn about their environment and how to navigate our world. At granted, we recognize this fact and aim to change the way education is delivered to Native Americans. We look to our ancestors who taught us through oral tradition, lived experience, and practical and hands-on training. We understand non-linear thinking and creative problem-solving.
granted’s Instructional Design provides a fusion of the best of both worlds, blending Native culture with the best the Western education has to offer. Through Indigenizing language, creating a supportive community, and story-telling from Subject Matter Experts with lived experience, granted creates curriculum that showcases Native faces and Native voices. We eliminate the grading system of letter grades and pass/fail by increasing the learner’s knowledge and self-esteem so that they can trust their own self-assessment of knowledge acquisition. We make the most of technology using online, hybrid, or in-person training models while including Traditional Ecological Knowledge and Native Ways of Knowing. We lean upon the knowledge, dreams, and prayers of the past seven generations to determine our path and decision for the next seven generations.
